Super fast Ancestry Visa

My fiancé completed the online application last Sunday night (Sept 21st). She went for her biometrics appointment on Wednesday morning in Toronto, received a confirmation email yesterday saying her documents had been received and got her 'your entry clearance has been issued' email today! Five days from start to finish.

Her application included the form, birth certificates of herself, her dad and her grandmother, marriage certificates of her parents and grandparents. She also included a couple of wage slips and an email from me confirming she will live with me and I will support her while she looks for a job.

Apparently the Toronto office were really helpful and friendly. They looked over her documents and sent them off too.

I hope anyone else applying for this visa has such a smooth and speedy time!

Hey did she include anything regarding money. they are asking for bank statements for proof of funds as my boyf is self employed. Also how much money did she have in her account?

He has $2,500 mostly made up of accounting jobs and selling all his stuff off.

He didnt get a perm job as he has a job offer in London.

Just panicking that we need to show as much proof of everything as poss.

Also did you mention that you were a couple anywhere in the application?
