Taxes with TN Status

Post Thu Dec 17, 2009 7:27 am

I started working in the US in August of this year. I worked in Canada for the first part of the year. I am currently living in the US with TN status. How will I file my taxes for this year? Will I file in Canada for the income earned there and file seperatly in the US for the income earned here? I do not own property in either country.

If anyone has information on this that would be great appreciated.

Thanks!

I've dealt with these issues at forums.serbinski.com
This site is a travel site and not best source for these topics:
TN and TD info: http://forums.immigration.com/forumdisp ... -TN-Status
For US/Cdn taxes and SS/CPP:forums.serbinski.com/index.php
US Marriage-based Immigration: visajourney.com
