Clearly the spouse's TN visa must be present, but will a Record of Solemnization of Marriage suffice in place of a Marriage Certificate?

I only ask, because Marriage Registration requires 6-8 weeks in Ontario, of which must pass before you request a Marriage Certificate.

Sorry to bump an old post, but I thought it would be better than starting a new one with the exact same topic.

My husband and I got married over the weekend, and as per the post above, we have to wait 3 months before we can apply for an official marriage certificate. Unfortunately, my husband starts his job in the US in mid-September.

Will I receive the TD Visa with just a Record of Solemnization?

Oh, I guess I'll update you with this then.

We flew out of YYZ to EWR, and the border agent asked me to fill out an I94 for her (departure record) in which he stamped it and placed it in her passport. He didn't even ask to see our record of solemnization at all. Your results may vary, but I'm sure they will not hassle you at all, as it is as easy, or easier than the TN visa.
