I've worked in California for 5 years, because of lack of teaching jobs in Canada. I'm now relocating back to the best country in the world and want to know if there is a need for teachers in Ontario or Alberta. If anyone can answer this I'd appreciate it.

Plus, I need help with moving ideas. Has anyone ever rented a budget truck to drive their stuff back? How did that go? I've got furniture and lots of stuff to move so I'm concerned about moving in a truck and towing my car behind it.

One more thing, I have an I-140 in process and was wondering if that would affect me someway with the United States. I'm not sure how that all works.

Thanks a lot.

Are you willing to move to northern Alberta? There is always work there in the smaller towns. Look into a few of those divisions and you are sure to find work. (My brother is always trying to convince me to come back!)

The only truck rental that allows cross border one-way is U-Haul.

What's an I-140?

I'd say stay out of Ontario, since it seems like every person I know who went to Uni for Arts is now in teacher's college.
