I've seen quite a few openings for teaching English in Mexico, with Monterrey being my location of interest. I'll be finishing my 2nd year of English - Creative Writing this school year and receiving my Associate of Arts Degree in the process. I've noticed that basically all of the teaching positions in Mexico require at least a Bachelor's Degree to even be considered. I've read on several forums that an A.A. degree isn't worth much in this field depending on the country, even though I'm only interested in doing it for a year before I transfer to University to complete my Bachelor's. I'd obviously be willing to take the required TESL certification courses as part of the process. I was wondering if anyone can share some insight with me, and feel free to be brutally honest. If it's absolutely necessary that I get my Bachelor's Degree first before I should even attempt this, please let me know. Although, if I have any chance with the A.A. I'll gladly take it. Thank you.
Mike
