Teaching in Saudi Arabia

We're looking for female, certified teachers to teach at a Canadian international school in Jeddah. Teachers are needed for the 2008 school year and also the 2009 school year. Please apply on our website if you're interested!

What age/grade levels? How many years of expereience preferred? What are the demographics (socio-economic, religious, cultural) of the area in which we'd teach? Is this a public school or independent? finally, is this a Religious or secular school setting?

Kindergarten and First grade girls. the school is an independent school and taught completely in English so the socio-economic level is somewhat high - i.e., Saudis who want their children to be brought up in English. The school is secular, although in Saudi, all schools are required to have some level of religious (Islamic) education. Pay is around 35K USD per year, a private apartment is included, as is transportation, health insurance, and round trip air fare. The contract is for one year. I would like to know if there is any age limit for applying for this position and if it is still available. Also what is the amount of previous teaching experience they are looking for.

The maximum age is 55 and 2 years elementary teaching experience is required. Yes, we still need teachers! So please apply on our website.
