Teaching in Taiwan

Hey,
I am a new member and I am currently in Taiwan..Kaohsiung to be exact. It's located in the soutern part of Taiwan. I am teaching English in a kindergarten and at a cram school. Wondering if anyone else is in Taiwan and can give some hints about the social scene?
