Teleworking abroad.

I've decided to start a consulting business registered in Canada. The business is ideally suited for teleworking. Essentially a computer and internet connection is all that is really needed.

Now the tricky part. I hate Canadian winters. As such, I want to own a second home closer to the equator and work from that home during Canadian winters. The most logical place (in terms of travel and security, family, friends) would be the US (Florida). Unfortunately there is no such VISA for this scenario and as such is illegal [that is my relatively uninformed opinion - please correct if wrong]

Where can I Canadian telework to a Canadian position each winter for say 5 1/2 months that is relatively inexpensive, safe, and has suitable communications infrastructure for reliable high speed service?
