Texas Driver's license for TD Visa holder

Hi Guys,

I am a Canadian recently moved to US with my family, I am on TN visa and my wife and kids are on TD the question I want to post here for expert advise is how to apply and attain Texas driver's License for my wife who is on TD, she has Canadian G1 license from Ontario and to the best of my knowledge she is not going to get a SSN on her current status.

Would appreciate if someone on the forrum can help me and steer me in the right direction

Just contact your local DMV. If there's an agreement between Texas and the province where your wife's license is from, she might be able to just exchange one for the other.

I was on a TD in high school and got my Florida driver's license like everybody else in Florida. When I moved back to Canada, my license was simply exchanged.

The DMV will know what your wife needs to do.
