the record of arrival and departure

Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen and came to US by bus as a visitor without filling out I-94 form. I will be back to Canada by bus soon. In this case, how does CBP keep track the record of arrival and departure?

Thanks,

Sue

Canadians are not required to have an I-94 unless they are going to the US on some sort of visa status (like TN, or K1, or J or or or). There really is no way for them to keep track of us, other than by our own honesty.

CBP have access to the CBSA entry record system, so when you return CBSA put that in their system and CBP can see it.
