Hes just checking out if hes able to update the forms right now.

We got a conformation email about the birth cert about two months ago Sad

Hopefully he can just update the form or something.because its a bit iffy having to pay again.if he did the biometrics anyway n just sent tht with his forms tht'd be fine right?

(Thanks for taking so much time out to do this btw!)

I'm not sure, you'll have to ask someone who's already applied, seeing as I haven't yet. Hopefully it all works out for you guys though.

Tbh i dont think anyone actually leaves it 8 months between applying and sending the documents -.-; Oh well! Means we can help others tht end up having to do tht! Very Happy Learning experiance.positive thoughts XD

HOPEFULLY, after this form sutffs done, its just the birth cert n biometrics that needs doing (and an ID photo to get from his mums purse hehe)

You're gonna have to let me know when/where you end up in england and let me and him take you out for a meal or something to pay you back for all this help!

I just got my confirmation e-mail reguarding acceptance! Yay my visa has been approved as well Woooo.! They have a super quick turn around time I'm incredibly impressed.

If you're applying for an ancestry visa you don't need to provide information on a prospective job. All I did was write a letter of intent. Essentially stating my intention to search for work and support myself without recourse to public funds.

I think the employment questions on the paper application are merely a side product of the employment and ancestry visa apps using the same form. They're nice but not necessary. I think if you have an offer it will help your case. but you don't need it.

Calster. your boyfriend ought to have been sent a number via e-mail, hopefully his mom still has it, the only advice I can offer is maybe have him e-mail world bridge and or the ottawa british embassy and see if any record exists of his previous application. It's too bad that so much time has passed. Sad

if you don't get a response that actually addresses your problem keep e-mailing them. I did until I actually got a straight answer from them. took about 5 e-mails to get to a simple yes or no. Wink
