I'm just looking for advice.
I'm currently a university student in Canada, and my program is International Business. Lately I've been thinking seriously about moving to the UK after I graduate, most likely somewhere near London. I figure the whole point of being in international business is working and living… well, abroad. I’ve been to London before and I absolutely loved it. But that was a vacation… I wasn’t living there.
I’ve been reading peoples posts and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.
The thing I’m afraid of most is getting a job in my field and making friends.
How did you guys get started, what made you decide to pick up and move there? Was there a boyfriend or family member waiting for you?
Did you quickly get jobs in your fields?
This is a huge decision, I just need some guidance.

My immediate advise would be to get onto recruitment websites like Monster.co.uk ect and get a good idea of what will be available. Generally I found it easier to get a job in the UK then in Canada. Canadian's seem a lot more outgoing and friendly on the surface and people who hire tend to like our enthusiasm.

Hi there, you will not have a hard time finding a job in your domain anywhere in England but you are looking into London and London is a very expensive city to live. You may find a job but have a hard time finding a place to rent. And chances are that if you do find a place to rent it will be super pricy...
Perhaps you would like to consider othere areas in UK to start with and addapt.
