I'm curious if moving to Australia on a 457 Visa, can I keep my Canadian RSP's? Can I keep my property here? Or do I need to liquidate everything?
very confused here in Calgary
any info of links to info would be soooo appreciated.
Thanks,

As far as I know you can keep them, but you can't collect interest on them.

I am living in Calgary and moving to Brisbane early April. I met with Price Waterhouse Coopers the tax specialists and they provided me with the tax implications of a Canadian moving to Australia. I also own RRSP's / Property / and small business. There are some detailed tax changes that need to be made and also a NR6 form that removes your Canadian residency status. Let me know if you need more information.
