I see your in las vegas, so im just wondering if you know, if any casino dealing jobs like poker and stuff count under NAFTA in hotel management sector or not? Some people tell me yes but others tell me no, and I cant find the real answer to this anywhere? if you know please post. and im sorry Im not sure about the question you asked, hopfully someone here can help
Under no situation would a table dealer in a casino qualify as a Hotel Management position under NAFTA. You would be laughed at by CBP officers if you presented a letter of employment listing duties as dealing cards at a casino and suggesting that would qualify as hotel management. Please try this and write back explaining what they (CBP)told you.
you are expected to leave as soon as your status ends, you resign tn done leave within a reasonable time fram. 1 week seems reasonable, if questioned in the future explain I resigned on 10/02 took care of my affairs left on 10/09.
i read on 2 lawyer postings that u r to leave immediately and return on the visitor's visa to finalize your business.once you resign/laid off, you are no longer in TN status and should u stay, u r there illegally
