TN Application Letter and Canadian Address

I am applying for a new TN, my current one is expiring in early March.
My letter from my employer last year, referenced an address in Canada that I would return to after expiry. I was renting that property and I no longer do so.

Is a Canadian address required to receive my TN visa?

There should be no address on your letter, other than the employer's.
