TN job title questions

I am currently working under the TN category of "Geneticist" with the job title "Genetic Counselor". I have a BS in Biology and a MS in Genetic Counseling (from an American university). I have renewed my TN twice with no problems at all. I am considering changing jobs.

The new job would have a title of "Medical Science Liaison" but the qualifications are a BS or preferably a MS in Genetic Counseling. I completely qualify under their qualifications.

I am wondering if I could apply for a TN under geneticist again?
Any thoughts are welcome. I may end up seeing if an H1B is an option, however, waiting til October to start might not work for them.

As in the past, your TN should be under "Geneticist". Then the internal title can be whatever the organization wants.

The letter should highlight the job functions, which would appear to closely match what you are doing now.

I don't imagine there would be a problem. Why are you concerned?

I guess I was under the impression that the exact job title needed to be on the list. I always thought I was pushing the limits with my genetic counselor job title.

Obviously not, since you have always had a "wrong" job title.
