TN letter wording

Post Wed Aug 10, 2011 7:21 am

I am worried about my TN letter wording on the length of employment, it says "Assuming her continued performance, XX seeks to employ her starting upon her re-entry into the United States for no more than the next three years."
Is it good enough for me to apply for 3-year term TN status ? Or I'd better ask them to rewite it with the exact start and end date? Any help will be very appreciated.

I've come across instances where an officer has refused to issue a TN based on the fact that there was no specific end date. I agree with AGN that your language is fine, but if you want to err on the side of caution, a specified end date wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks. I am going to border next Thursday. There is not much time for change. I will try my luck.
