I am Canadian and have a TN work visa. I just got married and I am afraid to go on my honeymoon and we leave tomorrow. I spoke with my lawyer and she told me that I should not leave the county because there is a chance that I won't get back into the country. The reason being is that my TN is for temporary work and I should not have any permanent ties(marriage) to the USA, which I understand. She said that they could ask me if I was married and if they find out, then would send me back to Canada.

So now I am thinking I should not go. I am going to be nervous the whole time and I am so scared. My husband is a little bothered that we spent 3.5K on a honeymoon and never thought of this before and I agree. Does anyone have any thoughts, advice?
