TN ? my wife

Post Sun Sep 28, 2008 9:57 pm

I am applying for TN to work in usa, probably I'll have it in the next couple weeks. I learned from previous messages that my wife can't do anything there except stay at home with children. she is not the kind.
What to do then to let her do something while I am working?
working, studying, small business,.
is there any NT visa :) or NTT,.
your help please?

She can study, that's no problem, but she'll have to pay foreign tuition rates. Other than that she'd have to have some sort of work status of her own, e.g. TN-1.

The only common non-immigrant categories that Canadians usually get where the spouse can work is E (treaty investor or trader) or L (intracompany transferee).
