TN renewal at Tijuana or Canada?

I have to renew my TN this weekend. I lived in California and was wonering if I should go to Tijuana or to Canada. Could someone please share their experience with TN renewals in Tijuana and rather if I am better off trying to renew at the Canadian border? Thanks in advance.

Tijuana is an option, just realize your situation if you get denied. You're stuck in Tijuana and you'll have to request to come into the U.S. as a visitor or convince them to finish off your existing TN Term.

Having said that, we have heard of people who have successfully gotten their visa from here.

This border crossing requires you to make an appointment a week in advance. Ask for the Special Cases Officer and book the appointment. Sometimes there are hassles of having to stand in line to see the Officer.
