TN status for a biologist in a construction company???

Hi,

I have a tough situation which I'm not sure can be solved.
I have a bachelors degree in biology. I recently received a job offer in construction management from a company in NY.
off hand it seems like I wouldn't be able to obtain TN status since the 2 are totally unrelated, but I wonder if there is any creative way to approach this, especially with the current "environmental friendly" trend.

so is this truly far fetched? I'd appreciate any help and advice.

What matters is the job you are doing? Are you going to work as a biologist? If not, then you can't get a TN as a biologist.

Biologist is on the list of recognized TN professions but you need to be a biologist, not a construction manager lol

If you want to move to the US, then look for work as an actual biologist. Since you have a matching degree and profession, then your application is fairly straightforward and you should get the TN easily, provided you can prove non-immigrant intend etc.
