tn taxes

I've been a nurse in the states for a year where I currently live. Do I file american taxes like the rest of the americans?? Thanks!!

Yes, you would file using a 1040 Resident Alien form. Unless you had some kind of income from Canada such as an RSP de-registration, substantial dividend income, or Canadian income, you would not have to worry about the Canadian side.

If your post expired and you returned to Canada, you would address the U.S. tax side via a 1040 NR, Non-Resident Alien return.
