Does anyone know if a DUI in Canada will affect renewing your TN Visa? The charge is from 2005 and I have had a TN since 2001

Did it come up when you renewed it last time? Did you disclose it or lie on your application form?

yes, I have renewed twice since and it has come up both times. I ask now as I understand that there is a new policy for alchohol offences in the last 3 years that automatically reject your application. I think it is only for Visas from other countries and Canada is not included. But I would like clarification if anyone knows.
