TN visa approved with I-140 EB-3 pending

First of all, I want to thanks Agnelson for giving me some courage to do it so, you were really right of what you have informed me. I went to the border Massena, NY last Monday and applied my first TN and I was approved for 3 yrs.
Though thinking that it won't work because I have a pending I-140 well, it wasn't? I tried and I did it..So I hope everyone who didn't tried it yet and whom who has the same case as I, try to go to the border and apply.
I was maybe lucky because the immigration oficers were nice but still, I encountered a lot of questions related to me and my job, it wasn't easy..they held me there about 2 hrs.My advice to everyone is to have everything ready, be honest of what you present otherwise, they have no reason to deny you. Goodluck

What kinds of questions were asked? Where in Chicago are you working? I'm a Canadian RN hoping to petition in Chicago as well! Thanks for your help!

Sorry i didn't respond to you quickly but i tell you something it's a case to case basis..My advice is be prepared and be honest. The question is related on what documents you present like whom your employer will be, your nursing experiences and probably your ties in Canada. I guess, you have all the requirements needed and goodluck..
