TN visa getting married

I am a Canadian citizen on a Tn visa right now in the US, which expires in December '09. My boyfriend recently proposed to me and I don't know the process to get married without having to leave the US and jeopardizing my job here. My boyfriend is also a grad student and I heard that in order for me to become a resident he has to make a certain amount of money in order to prove he can support me. Is there a website or somewhere that lists the procedure for marrying an American while on a work Visa?

Specifically, you'll want the Adjusment of Status forum and Guides.

You need to apply for AOS on form I-485, there are a whole bunch of other forms that need to be filed with it, have a read of the instructions for I-485 and have a look at the website Reba mentioned.
