TN Visa Help: Scientific Technician

I am considering geting a TN visa under the category Scientific Technician. I have a Bachelors of Science degree, in addition to business experience in marketing and project management. My job offer is with a startup company that commercializes medical devices, as well as other technical services.

I am confused about what a scientific technician acutally does. If I have a strong science background and the work is science related is that enough? Can I work in a project management/operations capacity?

Also, my supervisor is a doctor (has an MD degree)... does that meet the supervisor requirements for the TN visa?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It does, you need to be working under the supervision of a degreed professional under the Sci-tech category. I have worked under Sci-tech as well, ensure that your offer letter includes that info. My letter stated the name of my supervisor and the school and degree he had attained in support of the petition.
