TN visa holder seeking to develop app

Hi there

I'm on a TN til 2014 as a graphic designer. I want to design and publish an iPhone app that would sell in the app store. I would need to pay an American coder to help with the project.

I was wondering, what are my options to pursue this endeavor without breaching the restrictions of my TN?

I've surmised the best approach may be starting a company in Canada from my Canadian address and doing it that way.

someone at work said if you start a company in the states, you can get some sort of visa if you're hiring Americans? Anyone know of this?
