TN VISA RENEWAL..Please help

A TN can be requested by having employer file form I-129. You need to be legally in the US to file this, so most get their first TN at the border.

But one is not required to get TN at border, and indeed there is a form. I-129 from USCIS website.

Yes, there is a form if he's applying from within the U.S. Assuming he is in Canada he would not have to fill out a form.

thank you I am 5 minutes from the POE and am renewing my visa and i know I have to go back and re apply but I thought I had a form that I filled out last time?

If you are applying at the POE in person, you do not need to fill out form I-129. You apply with your documents and job letter in tow. This form is only if your company is requesting to renew your TN status for another three years from within the U.S. in essence avoiding you to physically go to the border and reapply. I hope I'm making myself clear

Hi! I am working for the same company for 2 years on TN visa. Is there a problem if the same company sponsors me again for another 3-year TN visa? My employment letter always say that I will be working temporarily for them until a certain end date.
