You need to read carefully my entire text. Here, there are many people who are knowledgeable on the subject - they know. But here are also people who pay no attention to the subject matter - simply frolicksome, and they don't think before writing an answer!

Anyway, TN issues are not very ordinary. You don't learn them in the school. To comment on TN issues, either you have to know the Treaty (NAFTA) regulations or you have to experience it by some means.

My reading is very much on point and I don't require your cynicism in regards to that. You are misconstruing what other members are saying in this forum. They are giving you information based on their true knowledge of immigration laws. Their "frolicksome" answers may be due to your redundancy?? I don't think you're getting anywhere with this and really think you should just give up the jig!

People are trying to give honest answers and you're being rude.

That doesn't make sence. We are talking about his wife needing a Visa to enter the USA as a TD. What does entering Canada have to do with it?

Are you saying even his wife is a Canadian citizen, she will have to request her TD at the US Consulate office not at the boarder?

If a Canadian citizen can obtain his/her TD at the boarder, can a Canadian permanent resident obtain TD at the boarder?

NO. She is NOT a Canadian Citizen. A permanent resident IS NOT a citizen. She is a citizen of INDIA and thus NEEDS a Visa.

Don't confuse a PR and a Citizen, they are not the same.

ONLY Canadian citizens are exempt a Visa.
