Wondering if anyone had a problem getting a TN or "renewing" one given the state of the economy?

I just renewed mine in January 2009 and didn't have any trouble. My husband needs to in June 2009 so we'll see if its gotten worse.

I "renewed" last month at the Peace Bridge POE for a 3-year TN and did not have any problems, apart from a long 2-hour wait (there was something going on I think) and being forced to watch FOX News.

It's not lawful to be denied TN-1 status on the basis of the state of the economy. I'm pretty sure it would violate the EEOA.

I just renewed myself, at the Peace Bridge.

All my paperwork was in order, no problems at all.
