Toronto biometrics visa question

I have my appointment for my youth mobility application in Toronto this week. Im just wondering, do I need to have my biometrics submitted a few days BEFORE my appointment? Im under the impression that they take your prints just before or during your appointment. Please help! I cant take any more confusion.

Your appointment is for your biometrics. In the Toronto location you're able to send all your paperwork to Ottawa where it will be reviewed. Haha I'm going this week as well for my YMS.

It doesn't take long. They take a picture of you, take your fingerprints, and then package all your stuff into an envelope to send off to the British High Commission. I just moved to London 3 weeks ago on YMS. It was much easier than expected

recieved my papers and was accepted!! It went way smoother than I expected it to. Have you heard from them yet rawbit?

It went fantastic. They only needed minimal documentation. I went into the office on the thursday, and received my documents back with my visa on tuesday morning.

How long does it take to get biometrics appointment? What is the wait time? If I call today for an appointment, will I be able to get one next week or takes longer? Please share your experiences. Thanks!

I had no problem with wait times for my biometric appointment in Toronto. I think you have to book it online after you fill out the online visa application though.
My appointment is in the morning, wish me luck!

I made my appointment on a thursday for the next monday. I got it, took 10 minutes. Sent it off... package is currently at the BHC waiting for process. Way easy.
