Travel on TN Visa while H1B is processing

Hello,

I'm currently on Management Consulting TN visa which expires Feb/09, however my H1B application was submitted April 1st, and as I was in the Master's category it has already been approved (still lucky with the number of applications this year).

My concern is that I'm traveling to the UK later this month and I'm worried about reentering on my TN visa. My lawyer says that it is perfectly okay, but she isn't very familiar with TN visa's so I wanted to double check.

Hi,

I actually talked to an immigration lawyer who said that it was okay. I also already got back from the trip and I didn't have any problems. However you should bring a letter that states you are in good standing in your job and that you are returning to the same position.

I have traveled from US to Caribbean for a vacation and then re-entered the US, all on a TN -- no problem. The TN allows for multiple entries.
