Travel outside US while TN renewal is under process

Hi,

My employer has mailed my TN renewal along with my family TD visa renewal. I received the application receipt. My current I-94 expires on March 28.

There is some family urgency, so my wife has to travel to India, she will be coming back by March 21st.

My question is will there be any problem when she come back at the Airport?

Please help me if any one had travel outside US while TN renewal is under process.

As long as the I-94 is still valid, I can't see why there would be a problem.
