Traveling through Chile´s northern Patagonia

Post Sat Jan 28, 2006 7:51 am

Hi guys, I´ve just finished a 3 weeks trip through the southern part of my native country, Chile. I made the trip on a new hop on hop off touring system installed there, patacam (www.patacam.com). It was a fantastic trip, buses go to amazing places like Cochamó (where i made a 4 days trek to it´s amazing granite walls, where i spent some time climbing, RECOMMENDED!!. Also a nice place in Chiloé island, Cucao, an amazing beach with nice trekk ( the greatest is a 2 day trek to cole cole beach, sorrounded by temperate rain forest) Everybody should come here, it´s a unique place. Patacam system is the best and cheapest solution for backpackers here. See you guys and come here, juan ( im not sure where I´m from, i was born in chile but used to live in Charlotte, NC, now in Santiago and willing to take some courses at UBC...
