Hi, does anyone know if we can bring food into the USA? I am going camping in the USA and am not sure if they will confiscate the items at the border?

I usually bring back Shreddies, tea bags, Tim Horton's coffee & hot chocolate and a few other cravings whenever I go home for a visit. But they won't let you bring in fresh fruits, veggies, meats, cheese or other dairy products.

I guess you have to check with the airline or the border. There is a list what you could and could not bring. It is always a standard procedure. But then again, if it's available in the US, just buy the food there. It will also save you the hassle of transportation.
