This summer I plan on backpacking Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Poland. Does anyone have any advice on a method of travel?

I was looking at getting the Eastern Europe Pass from Rail Europe but given the limited rail network in some of these countries I wasn't sure it was worth it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It probably depends on how long you plan on travelling in those countries. They're relatively small (except Poland) and so it doesn't take too long to get around.

If you don't plan on using the train very much, i.e just to get from major city to city (prague -> budapest etc) it might be better to just buy individual tickets.
