travelling to Australia/NZ to instruct snowboarding

hey, I'm 20 years old and currently reside in Toronto. I am absolutely in love with snowboarding,travelling, and of course partying. I I am CASI certified as a level 2 and freestyle snowboard instructor. I am in the process of applying for my holiday visa to work in australia or NZ as a snowboard instructor there winter months starting in june. Not sure how harsh NZ and Australias winters are? Would I be better off instructing in NZ as opposed to Australia?(cost of living? employment? transportation?) I am nervous and curious about how hard it would be to find a job and which resorts are the busiest to gurantee work. Any advice or comments from anyone who has done this or just want to give there thoughts is greatly appreciated!
