Hi Everybody,

Im new to this forum. I currently live in Ontario, Canada and am planning to travel to Tweed Heads South in NSW in July. I will be spending 6 months there, visiting with my girlfriend and her family.

My question is, will I require a return ticket? I will be travelling with an ETA and am aware that I can travel to New Zealand to renew my ETA and return to Australia for another 3 months. I may be staying there longer, depending on what transpires during my stay.

I had read somewhere that Canadians travelling to Australia do not require a return ticket if travelling under an ETA. Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your responses. Take care!

Donnie
