Trouble with the airport in Minneapolis

Hi there,
I would like peoples opinion of the service provided by the staff at the airport in Minneapolis. Specifically, has anyone had a particularly hard time with bags getting delayed / lost here en route to another location? (This side of things is handled by airport employees, not just the airline, right?) It seems everyone I have talked to recently who has flown through Minneapolis on their way to somewhere else has had their bags delayed there. Has anyone noticed a big discrepancy between here and other North American connection airports? I am debating if it reason enough to avoid that route (even if it means a little extra for the ticket?)

I've heard that too. My rule of thumb is to never take connecting flights especially on international routes unless there is absolutely no other way. I'd rather go direct and drive 300 miles.

They lost my whole families luggage on the way to a funeral in Cali. It was a terrible experience.
