Hi everyone,

This site seems like it has an informed group of members so I thought I would throw out my situation to see what happens.

I'm a 25 year old man who would really love to relocate to somewhere in latin america, perhaps Mexico, to work, travel and live. I hold a business degree from a Canadian University and speak three languages, French, Spanish (high conversation level) and of course, English. I love to travel and love learning about interacting with people from different countries. I'm very personable, creative and organized. However, I am having a tough time deciding how would be the best way to relocate to latin america.

One thing that is important for me is that I use my languages and my degree. I have experience in the banking industry as well as hospitality and restaurants but it is my desire to learn new skills and develop myself professionally. I've heard that some Canadians will sell timeshares during the winter and then come back to Canada for the summers. This would interest me but I would like to know more about the work before jumping in head first.

I think I would enjoy working in a business development role for a resort, real estate or tourism-based company. I know I have the right skills and my languages would surely serve as an asset.

I guess my question is more advice-seeking. For those who are already living in Mexico or know others living in Latin America, what is it like for someone in my position to find a job from their computer in Canada? Are the roles that I seek available? What would it be like to find a company to help me work there legally (as in to apply for the work permit for me)?

Any advice, ideas, websites or contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this lengthy message.

Saludos!
