Hi all,
I am trying to track down the Westjet of Italy.: a discount airline based in Italy. It would be great if it had service to North Africa, but at least with service to the rest of Europe. Has anyone heard of one? I know of easyjet in UK and RyanAir and Air Berlin and will use those if I have to, but would prefer something in Italy.

Thanks,
Allyssa

Try doing a google search for these Smile
* Air Italy
* Air One
* Alpi Eagles
* Blue Panorama Airlines
* Blu-express (a subsidiary of Blue Panorama Airlines)
* Evolavia
* Meridiana
* MyAir
* On Air
* Volare Airlines
* Windjet

I took a flight with Air Blue or something like that to Morocco from Milan once.I can't think of the airline name exactly. It wasn't that cheap though - but it was certainly reasonable. Like 150 Euros or something.

The best way to find cheap flights is "skyscanner". I can't post links yet so the normal start and net at the end instead of com. This website searches nearly all the discount airlines for the best options and indicates whether regular airlines service the route (worth checking because often the regular airline offers similar flights at the same price with better service - they have to compete, right?). Once you've found the flights you want you can click on the link to proceed to booking on the selected company's website.
