Trying to Obtain UK Passport

Actually that is not true and I don't know where you read/heard that. My older brother and I are both UK passport holders because our dad was born in Glasgow. They accept both mother and father now.

Ok, now I know that you awnsered that post a long time ago, but I am in that situation now also and I thought maybe you could help me... My father was born in England, my mother in Canada.. I'm born in Canada.. The consulate hasnt been very helpful and i want to know what are the documents I need to apply??? Do you remember how you got yours???

My dad was born in England and has been in Canada more than half his life. I applied for a U.K passport and got one no problem. Very easy. Just downloaded forms and mailed them and got a passport very quickly.

Where did you find the forms? did you need to send birth certificates, marriage certificate.......?
