• Are you a resourceful mechanic with bags of personality?
• Or a charismatic engineer with a passion for how things work?
• Are you brimming with ideas for experiments and have the know how and energy to bring them across on-screen?

We are looking for unique onscreen characters to take a central role in an exciting new science and engineering TV series for the Discovery Channel which aims to explore the breaking points of a range of familiar objects on a large scale - cars, boats, houses and massive trucks - and come up with ingenious safety and protection solutions.

We want to hear from all ages, but favour age and experience over youth and beauty. Previous TV experience is not required.

We are offering a competitive salary plus expenses. The successful candidate will need to give us a committment of three months filming in Nova Scotia from mid May (yes, next month!) If you reside outside of Canada currently, we will fly you over.

If interested, please contact amy.ruse@fireflyproductions.tv asap with a resume and photo.

Canadidates must be Canadian citizens.
