UI for Maryland

Hello,

If anyone on TN permit was laid off in Maryland I'd appreciate if they can advise me on UI process.

Step 1. Return to canada.

Step 2. contact services canada and tell them you want to make a cross-border UI claim with the state of Md.

Step 3. They will tell you how.

You cannot collect UI in any US state unless you return to canada, because you are not in a continuous work status and are thus not "immediately available" for work.
