UK Ancestry Visa Process

hi everyone!

hoping someone can confirm and/or correct my understanding of the process:
1. complete visa application online
2. collect all documentation required:
-long form birth certificates for myself, parents, grandparents
-passport photo
-evidence of funds available
-passport
3. bring all documentation, application for biometrics appointment
4. wait for response

what is the maximum amount of time you can wait from completing the application online to submitting the documentation & biometric data?

is evidence of sponsors accomodation required?

vancouver biometrics office phone number is not working, can i apply for an appointment online? how?

I believe you also need marrige certificates, to prove 'legitimacy'.

I wonder - do you require the birth certificates of BOTH parents or just the one that proves the lineage to your grandparent born in the uk.

I'm just trying to figure out if I need to to pay for both certificates or just my mom's.

Just the lineage; the child of the person(s) born in UK. And your parents marriage certificate.

Hi ...and Grandparents marriage certificate , proof of payment, your bank statement...as well as one passport photo ...

How much money are you required to have in the bank when submitting your bank statement? Would I be turned down if I only had $2,000? I have a job waiting there for me, but not sure if they require me to have a lot of money as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
