Hi there. I am hoping to come first week of August as my job starts Aug 16th. What are your experiences with the Brit High Commission in Ottawa (time frame) for returning an approved ancestry visa with all the right paperwork? They say ten days -- but honestly, I have never had a government office actually be on time. They do state it could be weeks in busy seasons. Please let me know. Thanks! I will be chirping alot on this network as I know nobody in London!

I got my visa returned to me in less than a week, and I lived out in Vancouver.

Of course, that was during March/April...

I had mine in less than a week - twice, over the christmas holidays! They initially put the wrong visa in my passport, I returned it and 2 days later had my passpost back with the correct visa. I think it took 8 days in total for the 2 visas!
