UK Child Tax Credits - Brit with Canadian Wife/Kids

Just wondering if someone can help me with a question...

I am British with my British passport. My wife and children (4) are Canadian. Will I receive the UK Child Tax Credits even though my wife and children are Canadians? They will have settlement VISAS for the UK.

Also, if I do qualify for the Child Tax Credits, will the VISA people take that income into account when I apply for the VISAs for my family?
