hi i am a canadian citizen tht recently got married to a british citizen and we were just wondering if we could apply for a uk spousal/marriage visa with our record of solemnization and if we do so and in case its rejected do they put a refusal stamp on my canadian passport which would create problems in the future. we have tried contacting worldbridge and they said they would mail us back but it has been two weeks and we are really confused now. Please if anyone has been in the same situation as us and could help solve our problem it woudl really be appreciated. Please and thankyou.

Myself (British) and my wife (Canadian) waited for the marriage certificate to come through first. We ordered the long version and although it took a while to come it was worth it. We received confirmation that my wifes visa had been issued 3 working days after we submitted the supporting documents. Another 3 days later we had all our documents back and her visa from Ottawa. Really really happy and impressed with the speed it was processed.
