UK Spouse visa 2011 time?

I Just sent my Documents and application to Ottawa last week, they got them on Friday June 10th and started processing them for me, I am really hoping to travel back to the UK with my hubby on July 28th, so I was wondering if anyone has applied lately for a spouse visa and how long did it take to be approved? Thanks all so much, feeling so stressed about it all

I just checked my e-mails from the High Commission - my documents arrived in Ottawa on July 30/2010 and my Visa was issued August 16/10. I applied via Toronto Worldbridge and paid for courier service so I had my passport and all back on August 17/10. I arrive at Gatwick on August 31/10.

As far as I understand, Settlement Visa's can take the longest to approve because of all they that involve, but at the same time, we're talking about family so they do try to get them done quicker (and I believe that they're are fewer Family Settlement Visa's). So they say up to 12 weeks, but it can be as little as a few days.

That is good news, I hope and pray they get mine sorted out in time. I just start getting worried and hope I did not mess up any of the documents... I hope I gave them all they need to get it done. I saw a few other posts on here that said it didn't take them long to get it approved. I pre-paid a courier to have it all sent back to me once they are done with it... so hopefully that works out.
