Just wondering if anyone here has gone through the Unmarried Partner route?

Does anyone have a "checklist"? (I am aware of the 2+ years of living together and supporting documents) Should I apply first and then her?
I really need to know what forms she has to fillout and whether we mail them together or not.

I'm going to be going over on the Ancestry Visa myself.
